Xalkori contains the Drug / Molecule  “Crizotinib”. Crizotinib has been innovated by PFIZER with the brand name Xalkori. It has an aminopyridine structure, and functions as a protein kinase inhibitor Crizotinib blocks an enzyme called anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK). Blocking this enzyme stops the growth of cells.

Xalkori has used  for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread to other parts of the body and is caused by a defect in a gene called ALK (anaplastic lymphoma kinase).
