Usage
The Nephrostomy Balloon Dilator is used in the dilation of the musculofascial tract and renal capsule while establishing a Nephrostomy tract during a percutaneous mechanism.
Adverse Events
The following are the adverse effects of the Nephrostomy Balloon Dilator:
- Difficulty breathing
- Fever
- Chills
- Chest pain
- Bloody or black bowel movements
Contraindications
The Nephrostomy Balloon Dilator is not intended for use in the following cases:
- Active esophageal perforation
- Severe cardiorespiratory disease
- Pharyngeal or cervical deformity
