“Bleocip” contains Drug / Molecule called “Bleomycin”Bleocip is a glycopeptide antibiotic produced by the bacterium Streptomyces verticillus. Bleocip refers to a family of structurally related compounds. The mechanism of action involves breaking DNA.

Indication

This drug is used for Palliative treatment of Hodgkin disease and non-Hodgkin lymphoma; testicular carcinoma (eg, embryonal cell, choriocarcinoma, teratocarcinoma); sclerosis of malignant pleural effusions; squamous cell carcinomas (e.g., head, neck, penis, cervix, vulva).

Precaution

  • Bleocip (Bleomycin) is a prescription drug and should be used under proper medical guidance and advice
  • Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
  • Hypersensitivity and severe pulmonary disease are also observed.
