Before taking this medication tell your doctor if you have any medical history.
Pharmacodynamics Of Doxotero
Doxotero is a long-circulating pegylated liposomal formulation of doxotero HCI that provides a greater concentration of Kaposi’s sarcoma tumor than in normal skin. Pegylated liposomes contain surface-grafted segments of the hydrophilic polymer methoxy polyethylene glycol (MPEG). MPEG groups extend from the liposome surface creating a protective coating that reduces interactions between the lipid bilayer membrane and the plasma components.

It works by suppressing the activity of an enzyme (topoisomerase II) involved in DNA multiplication of the cancer cells. It also forms harmful chemicals (free radicals) that cause DNA damage.
