Usage
A Ureteral Dilator is used for dilation of the ureter before ureterorenoscopy. This product is also used for sequential or step-by-step dilation of the Intramural tunnel and ureter and /or stone manipulation. It is intended for single use only.
Adverse Events
The following are the adverse effects of the Ureteral Dilator are:
- Sore urethra
- Increased urination
- Blood in urine
- Pain in urinating
- Urinary tract infection
- Severe pain
Contraindications
The Ureteral Dilator is not intended for use in the following cases:
- Ureteral kinking or narrowing
- Impassable anatomy
