REVOLADE contains the Drug / Molecule  “Eltrombopag”.  Eltrombopag is a medication that has been developed for certain conditions that lead to thrombocytopenia. It is a small molecule agonist of the c-mpl receptor, which is the physiological target of the hormone thrombopoietin.

REVOLADE helps to increase the number of platelets, a type of blood cell that helps to reduce or prevent bleeding. The use of REVOLADE to increase and maintain the platelet count prior to and throughout antiviral treatment of Hepatitis C virus  infection
