“Imatinib” is the Drug / Molecule content in “Veenat”. Imatinib belongs to a class of medications known as protein-tyrosine kinase inhibitor.It works by stopping or slowing the growth of cancer cells (tumours).Imatinib stops the addition of phosphate group in signal cascade for cancer cells. Hence works as a form of targeted therapy—only cancer cells are killed through the drug’s action.
